Beverly Hills Periodontics And Why It Is Important?

Make an Appointment

Healthy Teeth and Gums

Your teeth are supported by bones and tissues, including your gums. If these tissues aren't healthy, it's impossible to have a beautiful smile.

Periodontics is the branch of dentistry that treats these tissues and bones. As a periodontist, I can help you maintain their health so that you can radiate health every time you smile.

If bacterial buildup threatens your teeth and smile, you need to restore the health of your bones and tissue. Regular visits to my office can do that, with both surgical and nonsurgical options available to keep your smile healthy.

Types of Periodontal Treatment

Nonsurgical Treatments:

I always start with nonsurgical treatments, opting for the minimally invasive approach with each patient. I begin with a hand scaler or curette to remove plaque and calculus at and below the gum line. Periodontal debridement procedures involving hand tools and ultrasound can smooth the surface of tooth roots. In addition, I use lasers to treat pockets of bacteria along the gum line.

Surgical Treatments

When necessary, I have all the training and experience needed to restore your gums and bones to health. Gum-grafting restores eroding gum tissue, and crown lengthening reshapes the gums to place a restoration properly. I even perform bone grafting as needed to prepare for successful implants.

If you're in need of periodontic treatment, call our offices today to see how we can help.
